By far the Best Portuguese restaurant in Miami. Excellent bacalao nata served in perfection. Family owned with over 30 years in the culinary art. The attention to detail is second to none. Michelle and Guillermo are the best. This restaurant goes off the menu with special plates every two weeks. 5 star rated, but they deserved a Michelin star well above other Michelin rated restaurants in Miami. A hidden gem located in n Doral.

My wife and I are big fans of Portugal food. In our opinion Caravela is the best Portuguese Restaurant in South Florida. The food selection is amazing. Everything is pretty tasteful and fresh. If you like Cod (Bacalhau) this is the place to go. They have more than six different dishes with Cod. Caravela have a good selection of Wines - Albarinhos with very good price. Don't leave without trying the desserts. The star is the Pateis de Nata, a well known Portuguese dessert. Also, the customer service is outstanding. Fully Recommended!
